Belgrade offers assorted shopping opportunities similarly to other European capitals. Shopping in Belgrade is really practical city since all is concentrated in the city centre. Knez Minailova street and its surrounding areas are full of traditional shops, such as greengrocer, butcher, bakery but also large and luxurious Western-style shopping malls and supermarkets. As for clothing, the biggest influence on fashion is the Italian style that’s why Italian brands are available all over Belgrade at competitive prices. The official Serbian currency is the dinar (RSD) and all the major credit cards (MasterCard, VISA, AMEX, Diners Club) are accepted in the majority of Belgrade’s shops.
