Balkan baklava

At Balkan baklava we make authentic cakes from the Turkish school of pastry, one of the most famous in the world, many types of baklava, then party, kadif, shakerpara and a short version of cake. In our pastry shop in Belgrade on the Old Town, you can find all these flavors of the Orient, prepared from the finest ingredients in the traditional way.

Selected pistachios from Gaziantep, Anatolia, the capital of the highest quality pistachios in the world, the finest nuts, butter, the finest black chocolate and whole-wheat flour are the ingredients we use, as is the fine sugar that underlies all sweets.

Baklava is a type of very sweet dessert, cake. In fact it is a sweet pie that can have up to 70 thin crusts. Baklava is an oriental delicacy popular in our area and in the surrounding countries. The name is the same in Turkey as in the Balkans-baklava. The secret of baklava is taught in special schools, which last up to 15 years, when a student becomes a Mouth Master, which is the largest title in the world of baklava making.
